I didn't see a topic thread about this. Apologies if I missed it.

oscar stated he may not settle on a true starting lineup til Maui trip.

I've been saying for some time now, here is my starting lineup....

G - Foster
G - Edwards
C - Hurt
F - Westicles
F - Gipson

Gut call but I think both "point guards" don't start. I think they will come off the bench and play 23-27 minutes filling in for Foster Edwards Westicles.

Not sure right now how many minutes Bolden will play. I think Malek Harris won't play much in the beginning at the 4 ( still adapting to college ball). Niño will be first 4/5 off bench. We can play small with Nino Gip, but I think we'd prefer to not do it for long stretches.

i would be very optimistic about the season if 2 of our redshirt guys were starters

Hearing Nigel, Foster, Westicles, Gip, Hurt with Edwards coming off the bench in a similar role as Cartier in the 06-07 season.

First, thanks for this new thread. I was tired hearing about Kung Fu Beasley smoking dope with chopsticks and scoring, or Bill Walker playing in runtsville, or even about the beard Pullin. It is about now, Cat Fans. We have talent to go far. The real issue will be the rotations Weber sets, and that we play hard all of the time - no easy time for the opponent, the tornado of terror should stun any team who dares to play us. My starting 5 are Nigel, Wes, Marcus, Gip, Nino. The best addition to Bramledge are banners. A national title one, yes.

I think if we do start a PG, then Edwards will start at the 3 and Westicles will be the first guy off the bench.

Wes is starting irrespective of who else starts.

Did I really read somewhere (don't remember where) that of any guy on K-State's team, the guy the pro scouts are most interested in, in terms of upside, is Wes?

yeah hes got the size to be a 3 i think is what i have read before, marcus needs to grow some or just continue to get better, which i think he will

Just watched the highlights and Hurt is a guy that at least to me has a chance to spend a lot of time in the league if he's smart about his approach. He won't be a star, but he could stick for a good long while.
