The best burger in the KC area is at Justus drugstore.  But you can only get it when the patio is open.

i didn't read this thread, but whats the best burger in KC? tia.

mccoys is my choice, but i'm sure no one will agree with me.

Well it's Big 12 tourney time, figured I would go to a good burger joint or two while in town next week.

Plan on probably Town Topic, maybe McCoy's.. thoughts? anyone had a good burger lately?

Best burger in KC in order:

1. Beer Kitchen
2. BRGR
3. Blanc

Nothing else touches these three.

Also, both those places suck. Don't go to Town Topic unless you're hammered and Mccoy's is a pretty average hamburger. Beer Kitchen is right across the street from McCoy's tho.

Then go to BRGR. It's right next to PNL.

i like town topic.  a lot.  beer kitchen is good too.  i'm not too hot on brgr, mine have always been dried out and overcooked.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

I think it's based off the location. I think the same about the downtown location, Clams. However, their original spot is spot on.

Also, I went to town topic three weeks ago and my burger was the size of a quarter. Looked like the crap they scrape off the grill. :Yuck:

Then go to BRGR. It's right next to PNL.

actually staying at the Q Hotel in Westport, so I think beer kitchen is the leader out of the gate. will obviously be spending a lot of time in PnL, tho

There is a difference between "greasy spoon" burgers and the kind you'd find at a place like So-Long that everyone raves about. 9/ 10 if I'm in the mood for a burger I'm thinking greasy spoon.

Obv, Town Topic, and even places like Winstead's in the KC area. Wichita has some great burger West Street Burgers, Bionic Burger, Walt's, etc. West Street is probably my fave.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Beer Kitchen: nicer, cleaner, focus on high quality ingredients, nice hipster waitresses
Westport Flea Market: 10oz giant burger with topping bar, bitchy old waitresses
