Sucks if confirmed. Really liked his run support.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I tore my acl and didn't know it know it for 2 months! You can function just fine but once you try to do anything athletic you're knee will give out! I was in section one when he made the pick and saw him cut back to juke a tackler and saw his knee give out as he basically fell to the ground. Told my buddy right then he tore his acl! Hope Shelley can get prewett up to speed!

Bill won't play Prewett, at least not in any meaningful snaps.  We are going to trot Shelley, Truman and Davis out there and it is going to be ugly.

Just tearing your ACL is rare, there is typically subsequent damage, which causes a lot of pain (Meniscus, spraining other ligaments, torn muscle, chipped bones, bone bruises).  I tried to stand up after being helped off the court, and it felt like I was being stabbed in the knee with a giant syringe.  After a couple days it was no probs, I did plenty of athletic stuff before finally getting surgery. YMMV

I don't know crap about injuries, but something tells me that not all torn acls are equal.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

This sounds correct.   Sucks about Green, I really liked his aggressive play.

Dennis Dixon walked off the field with no complications after an ACL tear. I think for the most part you can walk and possibly even run with a torn ACL you just can't cut/change direction. For a better mental picture think Friday Night Lights when Boobie Miles tore his ACL.

Pendergast is partly right. Straight ACL tears are common, but if any of the other damages occur (probably 75% in sport related tears but that's just a guess) that's when the person is often unable to walk. A straight ACL tear simply eliminates the ability of the knee to stop the lower leg from moving in front of the upper leg. Obviously you can't play a sport like that, but walking shouldn't be affected

Him and Dakorey have been the two most pleasant surprises of the season. It'd be sad if we lose him.

Not that it will be possible for him to come back this season if his ACL is torn, but it is possible to perform at a high level.  He'd have to work the hell out of his hamstrings, as these muscles reduce the anterior movement of the tibia under the femur, which is the function of the ACL.

Tim Fitzgerald is confident this is an ankle injury.  Not worried.

Will Snyder play Prewett like he did with a redshirt freshman Barnett at Baylor? We all know how that went.

There's no way Prewett is worse than Schellenberg.

Third most points scored in the conference. Not T-Green's knee/ankle's fault!

So is FITZ.  Sounds like we've got ourselves a Battle Royale of insider studs going off here.
