BREAKING: The City of Frisco confirms a patient exhibiting signs and symptoms of Ebola who had contact with Thomas Eric Duncan came into a Care Now facility today after noon. Paramedics are preparing to transport the patient and are examining clinic staff and facility patrons. There will be a 3:30p press conference regarding the situation.

Pretty shocked his GF hasn't come down with it yet.  That said, they have her isolated in an undisclosed location, evidently.   

It really isn't very contagious. You have to come into contact with bodily fluids to get infected, and you aren't contagious until after you show symptoms.

How do you and your gf interact after being apart for a while?

If she is getting back from Liberia with a fever, I would maintain at least 10 ft of separation at all times.

they said on the radio that the three ppl had the highest risk of exposure.  A couple that let him stay with them and a homeless person.  Then a little bit later, they discussed how the girlfriend was most at risk.  So, it sounds like GF is a homeless person.  Now, how do you think a homeless GF interacts with boyfriend who has been gone for a while and isn't showing huge symptoms?

I was at a conference today, and took a walk at noon around a park.  Some guy with a dog the size of a pony was letting the dog relieve himself all over the place.  On the way back around there was a class of kids playing in the same spot.

Got my facts wrong.  Madrid specialist were afraid nurse gave ebola to her dog.  I don't want to know how.  Thet bumped it off, and animal right fanatics went nuts.

Yes, in times of potential pandemic the obvious "look to" is the Surgeon General.     

I guess the U.S. taxpayers are just paying the acting Surgeon General and the entire staff of that organization to talk about veggies and fruits.
