it makes me crazy mad when sd talks about his family's ranch.

sd, does your father's ranch include leases on federal land?

Wow, great thread SD. Just reinforces how rich Ima be once I inherit 1/9 of my grandparents farm land in western KS....I'm already scheming up ways to screw my siblings out of their share so I can get ONE THIRD of the land....Guess what...I'm the oldest male sibling....which means I do all the will/inheriting stuff when my amazing parents pass because you know, tradition.

1. Screw siblings out of their share(Assuming my uncle doesn't screw my dad out of his share)
2. Buy a F-150 pickup, maybe F-250?
3. Rent the land out for a set fee? Maybe a 1/3 the profit?
4. Either way get a phat check from Chelsea Clinton or Sasha Obama.

5. Just realized I saw some pheasant on the land last thanksgiving. Can totally make some bling by selling some hunting leases.

like, don't bother asking how it works and then trying to pay attention during the details.  just get the name of the program and post it here so i can google it.

I still don't know what they are! (Outside of being grassland which I assume are near Cimmaron which we (Meade studs) coincidentally make a habit of beating the crap out of in 2A sports)

Yeah, bass boat will be purchased with the piles of cash I make in year one.

I'm thinking that by year 4 or 5 I could probably afford one of those huge ocean fishing boats dax was talking about.

When mrs.hamburg's grandma dies (so 20 years from now) her and her sisters get 400 acres.  I think I'm going to keep one acre with one cow so I can write off my truck and all my gas going back to KS.  I think I can also do things like write off a new computer for doing cow business.
I got a guy on the other line about some white walls

My dad almost got $2 million for farm land from the government for some solar power thingy but they decided to go with wind power at some other location at the last minute. Typical gov. ruining everyone's life.

Taco trucks, stud 2A sports teams, 3.2 beer, pickup trucks, those enormous windmills, stars in the night sky, deers, 2 lane highways, it goes on
