If I'm a KU fan, I'd really like Gary Barnett btw.  He said he'd love to be the coach at Kansas this morning.
Followed by a "Go (mizzou) Tigers and Royals!" as he signed off.

As a general rule of dating and stuff, you don't want to take the first desperate thing that jumps in your way.

I kinda feel unqualified to judge this one since I haven't seen his coaching prowess(haven't watched the show).  Given that, I guess this is probably a 50/50 thing.  Would they pay him per season or episode?

crap yeah they have a lot of choices.  How many coaches are looking to spend their last 3-5 years of their career at a place where they get free use of a university jet, all excuses built in for failure from facilities to old coach's recruiting, and after all that, if they crap can you before you retire, you get a huge payout because KU athletic dept doesn't actually read their contracts.

I think he tried to get cute with it a few times and reference fictional characters like Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, etc.  It was lame and intended to call attention to the fact Snyder did not release injury reports.

Thanks. Seems like Gary has previous experience working within the rape culture. AD Zulu might not be as impressed as he was in the interview by Charlie Weis though.

Gary Barnett (born May 23, 1946) is a former American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at Fort Lewis College (1982–1983), Northwestern University (1992–1998), and the University of Colorado at Boulder (1999–2005), compiling a career college football record of 92–94–2. His 1995 Northwestern team won the Big Ten Conference title, the first for the program since 1936, and played in the school's first Rose Bowl since 1949. At Colorado, Barnett was suspended briefly in the 2004 offseason due to events stemming from allegations of sexual misconduct by several members of the football team.[1]

Seems overqualified for the ku head job. Kansas officials should get him inked now.

Barnett to LHCBS after a Colorado drubbing " did you really need that extra 7 at the end there ?" :billdance:

"He's in Shape !"
