If I'm reading it right, ours was the third most watched game on ESPN, period, this season.  It was right behind Wisconsin/LSU in week one and Tenn/Georgia in Week 5.

To get better ratings than that, you had to be on a broadcast network.

Oh, I completely agree.

Either OU carries around a boatload of fans from game to game, or we are a better draw that most people assume.

The network matters, though.  Everything beyond broadcast networks and ESPN drops off like a freaking rock.

Grabbing a huge late victory lunch with your bro's after your team wins its 11 am game is pretty elite, though. Watch the ongoing games with an aura of superiority; these teams are struggling for a mid-day victory while your team got up early, jogged to the stadium and took care of business.

Sucks for recruiting.  It's only regional.  A lot of the GA kids will be here, but their families back home won't be able to watch on tv.  If we had to have a regional game I guess it's best the recruits are here at least. Still not good that they'll have family/friends/coaches/teammates saying "I hope you had a good time in Kansas.  Was it a good game?  We couldn't see it."
