They were the second "best" conference game played on Saturday this weekend. If Okie Lite vs. Sand Aggie is played on Saturday, the Squawks fall to 11 o'clock.

LHN was a joint venture with ESPN and when games are on LHN or any of the ESPN family of networks, they can replay the hell out of it on LHN for eternity.

A little bit of wishful thinking, but mostly common sense. The Big 12 will have two good match ups that weekend, our game and TCU/WV. Not sure why FS1 or ESPN would want to bury either of those in the morning time slot when you can put garbage like OU/ISU or TT/UT there.
Why settle for 11am when primetime is available? :D

I agree that 11am on ESPN sounds ideal because of Gameday leading in to it, but it seems like more often than not that game has always been between two garbage big 10 or ACC teams.
11am on FS1 is a very crappy time slot. No outside of the two fanbases involved watches that game.

People have no idea how great it feels to roll out of bed at 8:45, have your coffee ready by the KSU Cats kickoff, then ending the game by 12:30 and enjoying the best part of the day in the California sun. :cool:

I agree that 11am on ESPN sounds ideal because of Gameday leading in to it, but it seems like more often than not that game has always been between two garbage big 10 or ACC teams.
11am on FS1 is a very crappy time slot. No outside of the two fanbases involved watches that game.

Oh, I completely agree.
Either OU carries around a boatload of fans from game to game, or we are a better draw that most people assume.
The network matters, though. Everything beyond broadcast networks and ESPN drops off like a freaking rock.
