I was at their game last week (wife's a grad). Fans where terrible, stadium was actually kinda shitty for the pricetag, and just an overall shitty fan experience. Left at halftime because I was bored out of my mind and needed beer.

I was in chick fil a in Oklahoma City last October and ran into the cat crew team though. winked at them and told them to stay out of the "red river". lol

that's the exact opposite experience that my mom and i had. we left the stadium and said "how can we help?". then we drove by the local charity house and donated $100.

I had a swell time at the game last year all things considered. Might have been the free booze and groceries while rubbing elbows with polite rich Okies in the suites skewing my judgement though.

But yeah ... the whole state of Oklahoma is a shithole.

I generally like OSU compared to a lot of other B12 schools, but Stillwater is the biggest shithole of a college town I've ever been to, almost as bad as Norman. How do these Okie schools not know how to do college towns? I mean lowrents is even better than either of those garbage water towns. Its like if Emporia State was the only University in the state and there were two of them, you'd have the Oklahoma University system.
