Seeing more of him and Johnson really make the defense a lot better.  That combo really shores things up in the middle.

I like his combination of size and willingness to put people in the dirt.

Only downside is prewitt may not start until he's a junior now but green also has been hurt quite a bit

I hope we move Prewett behind Evans. Would love to see this next year,

DE-Willis
DT-Clink
DT-Britz
DE-Wood / Bryant
LB- Derricott
LB- Riddle / Lee / Moore
NB- Prewett
CB- McDaniel
CB- Burns
S- Green / Newlan / Adams
S- Barnett

For the first time in the along time we won't have recruit a bunch of Defensive JUCOS to plug holes. Will be recruiting for All Big 12 quality players from the juco ranks.

Prewett can play that hybrid role very well.  He will see the field no matter what.

We might see some our D-Backs getting move to WR, It is such a log jam for talent. Never thought I would see the day when we have better depth at DB than WR.

Definitely need depth to rotate DBs when these offenses (Baylor) rotate out their WRs constantly.

CB: Burns (SR) - Jackson (RS SR) - Moore (RS SO)
CB: McDaniel (SR) - Mack (JR) - Shelly (FR)
NB: Prewett (SO) - Starks (JR)
S: Barnett (SR) - Newlan (RS SO)
S: Green (SR) - Adams (RS FR)

I don't think it is impossible to see Newlan or Adams to be moved.

Not having to ever see Schellenburg again is the best part.

I didn't notice Truman sucking ass but he definitely wasn't as exposed.  A Dakory and Devonta duo would be awesome.

I think the best secondary includes Evans and McDaniel as imposing CBs with Burns on deck. I also believe that our best group includes a combo of Prewett and Green at Nickel and SS. I think Prewett has insane potential as a center fielder but Barnett has earned to be "the guy" at FS. Those 5 starting would be incredible. Dakorey with ideally Derricot would round out a stout defense. I think our current D-line with that group of 7 studs behind it could also rise to a new level.

I'm not sure we'll see this pan out but I'm damn sure excited to see what we can do in another "warm-up" type week ahead of us before the difficult mid-season stretch.
Please don't ban me, Mr. Dave.

Isnt Jackson the guy that Marshall abused after Burns got injured?  Why would you want him starting over Burns?
