Teams from the south love making a big deal about walking from your car to the stadium.

They like to ride the bus to home games as well.  I mean what in the world is that all about?  Ok guys it's almost game time get your stuff and hop on the bus so we can drive to the stadium that we are already at.

The reason for that is because the team stays out of town the night before a home game. That is a very good idea because I am sure the party atmosphere would be very tempting for young fellows on the team.

do teams outside of the SEC not do this?

The SEC: Taking "You can't seem to behave yourselves so we have to separate you from the rest of society.  This is why we can't have nice things." and just calling it: "Tradition".

sounds like Auburn players are all addicted to drugs and alcohol, if they make them stay out of town to resist temptation.  t's and p's

So sad that they are so undisciplined and morally weak that they put themselves before the good of the team.

serious question, where do KSU players stay before home games? if its at their own residence, that's great, I think the other reason aside from players being "morally reprehensible" is team unity, keeping everyone together the night before the game.

it also gives the player's families a chance to stay with their kids so to speak.

But above all yes, its because our 19 year olds are morally weak.

K-State players are morally strong, we've been complaining about the lack of MCMW (More Criminals More Wins) for years around here.

A few more MCMW's and we're likely pulling a Natty in 2012.

On a related note you Auburn dumbasses need to quit being so defensive about Cam Newton and talking about how ESPN "slandered" Newton and Auburn etc. etc.   Embrace it, throw it in people's faces about how Auburn got away with it and probably gets away with a lot more.

If he tries to walk into our stadium like that, somebody is going to smack him right in the jowl.

Don't worry, I've got that covered

Brent Venabels wanna be.  Sad really.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

Kinda figured "team unity" was suffering when Marshall and Mincy weren't smoking together this summer...
