What if my hands get sweaty and I need a glove to grip the club?!

Great question. The only scratch golfers I know wear gold. Whatever you do, don't be the guy who wears a black golf glove on each hand. You don't want to be the guy who looks like he is a weird dental assistant. You're better than that.

Over the weekend I golfed with a buddy of mine and the starter paired us with a dork from UT who didn't like Mack Brown. Just 'cause this dorkstore played for Royal and won a couple of 'ships in the '60's does not give him the right to bad mouth Mack Brown.

He was a backup on defense, but it look us until the back 9 to confirm that he was just a scrub. 3 beers in this guy and he wouldn't shut up.

"When you swing 'x' club, you keep your eye on 'y'."
"Follow through all the way!"
"Not that you asked, but here is a great story about Roger Staubach sending one of my son's an email and my son called me and asked me, 'Dad, who is Roger Staubach?'"

blah blah blah.

I really mushed him on the how much Snyder owns Texas.

Of course I was giddy as a school girl to share my golfing experience about a guy with 2 championship football rings with my gE friends, but this guy was pretty lame.
