What do you think of when you think of the state of Alabama?

Been there a few times, first thing I think of is every food is fried, which makes me  The second thing I think of is how slow they talk, takes like a minute to say sentence. Finally, I think of backwoodsy the whole state is, granted they have a house like every half mile but that just seems to be the whole state and it's trees everywhere in between.

I saw a documentary one time that talked about how one of the favorite beverages in Alabama is squirrel milk. It showed them milking squirrels right before they killed some of them for supper. I couldn't even look at milk for a week.
