In my context no, in 8MP yes
I trusted you and clicked the link.

Just realized this exchange could have gone similarly had you used dog pictures.

So I went to the deep web last night and needless to say, I want to quit my job and just read the internet now. There's soo much information out there that's not even touched by the surface web.

Summarize, pls.  TIA

Basically you can find whatever you're looking for in there. No restrictions. I ran across some old de-classified military documents, tons of government docs, research papers, etc. and it was only the first night of reading.

Pro-tip: DO NOT click on the Twitter icon as it's not really Twitter.  :sdeek:

the little "i" icon in the top right kind of explains it, but basically they have sensors at different intersections of wired internet connections around the world.  based on where the traffic is coming from and where it is going, they can determine if it is of a malicious source.

a DDoS(distributed denial of service) is basically an intentional request flooding attack on a server.  a DoS attack is basically a single computer sending out page requests non-stop to a server, the server can only handle so many page requests at a time, but if they find the source of the requests they can block that computer.  in a DDoS attack it can be hundreds or even millions of machines all sending page requests to a server, much harder to stop because you dont know if those requests are coming from real people or are part of the attack itself.

I've seen this website before. Its picked up controversy like wikileaks but since most people don't understand this wizardry it hasn't been shutdown.

Norse is a very highly regarded DDoS security company, I think you are thinking of something else.
