lol, it was a terrible call, the DB reached out and grabbed the receiver immediately.  Then after the play he wasn't even looking for a flag.  I think he thought the flag was on him at first.

Against a bunch trips formation a DB jamming the WR like that is very common.

Understood, but his arms were on the outside, controlling the WR.  The receiver was staring at the QB at the snap (obviously), so the first to react was the DB.  It was a terrible call.

Jimbo's gibberish makes HCBS's vanilla non-answers sound profound.

God rough ridin' damn it.  Wouldn't surprise me one rough ridin' bit to see two SEC teams plus FSU and Notre Dame in the playoff now.

I don't agree.

Also, the outside WR also basically blocked the outside DB (and ran no route) which made the call automatic.

You are an absolute dumbass if you don't think that was offensive pass interference on Notre Dame.

Agree to disagree I guess.  The DB was holding, not jamming.  He had jersey at least on the side the camera could see.  the outside WR ran a straight route.  I almost agree on him, I wouldn't argue as much if he was called.  He didn't really affect the play as much.

So, where does Gameday go next weekend? UK might of joined the elite of college sport had they not gotten smoked by LSU.  Actually, Ole Miss at Lsu would be my guess.

The outside WR's interference completely changed the play. In that situation, even in man coverage, you pattern read and switch with your DBs. The outside DB would have covered Robinson on the outside but he was picked.

Yeah, I can see that.  I would agree on him.  The flag was incorrect as I understand it though.  I believe it must be clear the offensive player initiated contact.  That wasn't the case with the slot/interior receiver.  Doesn't matter I guess, wrong player, right call I suppose.

He has been unbelievably successful up to this point. It's bound to slow at some point unless he keeps getting all the PI calls like he did against Baylor. Defenders have to get physical to even stand a chance, and when they do its often obvious PI level stuff. Was it one of your good secondary guys that is out for the season or something?

What the hell happened to the TCU defense? It's like Patterson said eff it, went all in on offense and completely ignored the defense this off-season. Woof.
