I feel very sorry for that lady, she is either drunk, on pills, or mentally unstable. Either way I don't know how you can be upset with anyone so unhappy in/with their life.

I throw some fuel on the fire though. I'm guessing this lady is "one of the good guys" that gun rights advocates feel like should be able to carry around whatever weapon she wants whenever she wants to. She needs to feel safe from that Muslim terrorist.

She is obvs out of her mind, but how about the grace of that guy to handle himself like he did.  He seemed genuinely concerned about her before she went all psychosis on him.

She needs the ability to stand her ground

Why did any of this happen? This is odd.

I'm going to wait on the facts. This seems staged.

doesn't seem that confusing or improbable to me.  guy caused a traffic accident, went to talk/apologize to the other party assuming that party would be another rational sane human.  encountered an insane human, stuck around trying to talk with it because despite its lack of sanity, he felt some ethical and maybe legal responsibility to resolve the traffic accident he caused.

I thought there was mention of running off the road and not an accident. If that's the case, he reversed the wrong way to have his car that closed to her or turned around and came back which I'd think would place his car behind hers?

Not impossible that this all played out like this. I'm just weirded out by his first instinct being to record video where he is in the wrong.

i have no idea what the nature of the accident was.  running someone off of a road (accidentally) is a type of traffic accident.

i know it was his fault because he initiated the conversation by apologizing and he seems perfectly sane and rational.

Okay, the woman was nuts.

But who gets out of their car to "apologize" in anything resembling a sincere fashion carrying a camera/phone and filming the person that they possibly/apparently almost wrecked on the road?
The lady was yelling slurs before he got to her car,  he probably pulled out his phone because crazy.

Ok. But when she's batshit. You get in your car and drive away. Not engage her further.

The only way you know she was yelling slurs was because you watched the video.
Yes, but I would assume the yelling started before the video,  or he just has really good timing.

What's your point? I would record a crazy person after an accident,  and I would also be sincere that I was sorry for causing the accident.

That woman would have had him arrested for leaving the scene.

I'm using what I actually see, and I see a guy who gets out of his car to "apologize" with a camera phone shooting a video of a crazy person he apparently almost had a serious accident with (his fault).    No sane person is going to view that as sincere, and obviously an insane person is never going to think that.

She is saying "You god damned..." pretty much right when the video starts before she is in view of the camera so I don't think it is very likely that she wasn't saying these things before the camera started rolling.

With his damning video evidence of her threats? Ok!

Maybe he could stop trying to go viral and take care of himself. Phone the police? Report the accident. Say that you don't feel safe and will be waiting for police at x location. There was no damage on her car.
