Oh I get it. Weird Al is kinda looking at sports from an objective standpoint and made a song to articulate how ridiculous all the trash talking might sound to someone analyzing it from that perspective. Fantastic.

it reminded me of I dunno, its just a touch pretentious and not that funny. Yeah, cool, people who like sports don't have a vested interest in its outcome, yet like it anyway. We're rough ridin' idiots, thanks, got it.
