Here's the deal guys. We know that the Royals white home uniforms are the best in professional sports, but I'd love to see YOUR top ten MLB uniforms (with pics!). Current teams only. Yeah we know that the 1936 St. Louis Browns uniforms rocked our socks off but they are ineligible for this thread. I'll make a list, and if you wanna, you can make a list too!

Here we go!

1. KC Royals, Home Whites

2. Detroit Tigers, Home Whites (I love the old English D)

3. Blue Jays, Solid Blue Alternates (the font on those numbers

)

4. A's, Green Alternates

5. Cards, Home

6. NY Yanks, Pinstripe Classic

7. Red Sox, Classic Home (piping down the front!)

8. Phillies, Cream with Bubble Logo

9. Pirates, Classic Home White

10. Dodgers, Script Los Angles Road Grey

That's my list. do you have one? Even a top 5, or top 3, or top 1 would be great

so, like, only teams that are teams in 2014? or only uniforms that are worn in 2014?

EDIT: sorry CF3, I only ask because those A's alternates are not uniforms in 2014. They went to the A's logo this year.

i mean it's basically the exact same as the Royals', but those red #'s on the front, my heavens sakes. (the numbers on the back are blue)

Good list. I love almost every teams throwback alternates, so I'll just stay away from them. and I love all the A's uni's and would put them 1, 2, 3, and 4, but I'll resist.

1. A's all whites.

2. Card's whites.

3. Orioles home Orange w/ paneled hat

4. Pirates whites.

5. Nat's reds.

6. Phillies road greys.

7. Blue Jays blues

8. Rockies purple

9. Braves blue on blues

10. Royals baby blues.

Did you know that only three MLB teams wear uniforms with no side piping (the stripe down the side of the leg)?

Oakland, St. Louis and the LA Dodgers

All three are consistently considered among the best uniforms in baseball...coincidence? I DON'T THINK SO

I didn't know that. That's really lame. In fact, I think the cubs uniforms are not that cool relative to how historic of a franchise they have.

I can't get with the A's alternates. It's one of the few things MLB has done uni-wise that irks me. Basically every team has a similar alternate with the ribbing around the collar and button-line with a team logo.

I like the Cubs' home, as well as both the Braves cream and white homes. Not a big fan of team names on the front without numbers. The Braves have the tomahawk on front so it's got enough going on. Giants are a perfect example of too much empty space on the front. It's weird because I do like a lot of uniforms with a logo, but without numbers

I really wish the Royals would wear the script Royals chowder-blues on the road some time and bring back the thick ribs on the sleeves from time to time.

The Cubs homes with the logo and pinstripes are definitely cool. It's hard to screw up a red-white-blue color scheme, which makes some of KU's poor efforts so laughable.

Also, as much as most of us can't stand the Yankees, their homes with pinstripes, and that navy blue that almost looks black, paired with high socks is just beautiful.

Hard to find pic, but the Yankees should never have a hint of white on their shoes. black on black on black.
