One of the worst things about being a tall lanky guy is trying to lift heavy weights without snapping weird long bones in half

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.

It must suck to be so tall that you can never be comfortable in a car, in a plane, at a football game, at a basketball game. Your knees must constantly be hitting other people's seats.

As well as stumbling around on those over sized skis they call feet.  Right MG?

I am very tall(6'4") and I love it. Was always the tallest person in my class and don't run into many others that I see eye to eye with.  Was great for sports and I dunked a basketball for the first time as a junior in HS. That was also when I had my 2nd knee surgery and no dunking since.

The good things about being tall far outweigh the bad. The only thing that sucks is getting fitted for/and or buying suits. My shoulders are about as wide as a 500 lb persons so I can never find a jacket that fits my torso other than my shoulders.

I was 5 foot 2 at that age. I'm not 5 foot eleven inches.

I was on a Southwest flight into KC with Manute Bol once. They just gave him the exit row and he was good to go. Had to bend over at the waist 90 degrees to walk down the center aisle though.

6'2", but I didn't get "tall" until junior ish year of high school. I think 6' would be about perfect, tall enough to reach things and see over most people, but not tall enough to make buying clothes or sitting on a plane a hassle. Unintended consequence of being tall: I'm always worried people are going to see up my nose and see some nasty nose hair or bugger, so I always make sure the inside of my nose is looking fresh and clean.

I'm 6'3". I was 5'11" in 8th grade and that is when I first grabbed the rim. I dunked for the first time my sophomore year in HS. I have also worn a size 13 shoe since 8th grade.

Being tallish is pretty cool, except for car rides and public events. Seating is always uncomfortable. I also always have to have my chair really low in the workplace so I can fit my legs under the desk/keyboard. Ceiling fans occasionally attack your fingers as well.

Statistically taller people make more money so I think it's worth the dying earlier/joint and back problems. I don't trust short people.

I went from a 5'9" 8th grader to a 6'4" sophomore, ended up at 6'6" which is about the maximum before life becomes really difficult.

My inseam is 36, which is as long as they get at gap.com, haven't bought a pair of pants in a store in at least 10 years. Flights can suck but I've always managed to squeeze in, sometimes barely.

Best part of being tall, you put on few lbs. and nobody notices.

Worst part you put on a bunch of lbs. and scare small children.
