KU won the Big 12...
« on: April 08, 2010, 02:42:34 PM »
....with a completely inexperienced Cole Aldrich, a completely inexperienced Morningstar, a completely inexperienced Taylor, a completely inexperienced Marcus Morris, and a former bench player in Sherron Collins.  Quit acting like KU won't do the exact same thing next year.

Were the teams that challenged KU for the Big 12 title last year as good as what K-State, Baylor and potentially Missouri will be next year?

Yes.  K-State still had Pullente, and Mizzou won the Big 12 tournament and went to the Elite Eight.  Texas and Oklahoma were pretty good as well.

And K-State got second place with a completely inexperienced and undersized Jacob Pullen, an ESL point guard, a 24 year old Junior, a former 4 star bust who couldn't hack it at UCONN and a fist-throwing Cuban Lenny. All coached by a formerly disgraced, inexperienced, high school basketball coach.

What's to make you think we won't contend for first place next season?

So you think there are 3 players as good as sherron, xavier, and cole on next year's team?

I say we just wait and see what the experts have to say on the issue.  You know, the people who get paid for their opinions.  They are probably a little more qualified than myself.  Probably not BMW though.  That guy knows his crap.   :ohno:

....with it's top 8 scorers consisting of 2 5stars (Cole, Baby Killer), 4 4Stars (Little, Tyshawn, M Twins) and 2 3Stars (Whities).  And of those 8, 6 were rivals 150 guys (4 being in the top 50) and 1 was the #1 Juco player in america.

fyp.  yeah, f'ing miracle they pulled off.

If KU signs Selby, they'll have the #1 pg recruit in the country, two other 5-stars in EJ and T-Rob, the #1 Juco prospect, a ton of Rivals top 150 guys, their leading scorer during Big 12 season, etc.  I'm not saying K-State won't compete for first, but I'm sick of you guys acting like you're going to start dominating every time KU loses a few players.
