I know, but acting like it’s crazy he might be considered for having a shot in the NFL, is dumb. He was on big boards. My whole BBS life depended on this take, until he beat OU twice, and @OK_Cat called the dogs off. :D

If he wants to get drafted, he needs another season.  He will probably be able to get a practice squad shot somewhere.  Honestly, he might be better off as an UFA so he can hopefully pick a spot that fits his skill set or has decent QB development.

If Skylar ever signs as a practice squad QB/Training camp invite Wacky is gonna pop so many bottles it may alter earth's rotation around the sun....and it will be well deserved.

He was #2 on my absolutely want back list. He's going to need a lot of work to get to the league though. I think McCrane had a bigger leg and he can't get a sniff because he couldn't routinely kick touchbacks. I don't think Blake ever handled kickoffs while he was here.

Pringle has done a solid job.  Great to see him get a little love from teammates as well!

I didn't know he was still attempting to play football so congrats to him, IIRC he had decent size/speed but was hurt about 75% of the time.

Did some googling and it looks like he signed with the Chargers last year as an undrafted free agent.

Quote
Gruntley was Honorable Mention All-Big 12 during his senior campaign and helped himself during pre-draft season by running the 40-yard dash in times ranging from 4.44 to 4.48 seconds. Given his reported 35-inch vertical leap as well, Gruntley’s athleticism earned him a post-draft look from the Chargers.

Maybe he can steal deiter's role as BFF's with Mahomes?

Chargers cut him first go around at camp. I doubt he lasts long.

He would be the best receiver on the 2021 cats squad

No, not at all, he was reliable

He would be the best receiver on the 2021 cats squad

I don't think so, but he and Malik would make a pretty solid 1-2.

I read today that Duke may become one of the starting CBs for the bears.

So are any of our wild Wildcats getting drafted today or what?
