Jesse Ertz was invited to the Saints Mini Camp. Has not signed a free agent contract.

He can't get sketti brained if he's holding a clipboard

No way that FP could hold a clipboard and not find a way to still hurt himself

Second-year DE Jordan Willis is expected to take over as the Bengals' "every-down" right end.

Willis won Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year as a senior before being picked in the third round of last year's draft. He played 360 snaps as a rookie, receiving strong marks from Pro Football Focus for his run defense, and Willis tested extremely well athletically before the draft. Veteran RE Michael Johnson is expected to move to a backup role, while Cincy also used a third-rounder on DE Sam Hubbard this year. 2017 fourth-rounder Carl Lawson will be in the mix, too.

That thread is sad. Too many people playing Living Room Couch GM and doubting TL and his abilities. Fingers crossed for his biggest year as a seahawk. They are sleeping on him!

I'm kinda shocked he got that contract since his numbers have been decreasing since his Rookie season, but i'm happy for him either way.

I wonder how much of that was his injury and recovery. If he has a good year at WR2 it could justify the money.

That has to be the biggest contract earned since Jordy (overall of course).

This is probably low NFL money management IQ, but I wonder if being a good ambassador for the team to the public and working really hard in practice / showing up to camp plays into his compensation. If you are well liked by the fans, the team, and the team's management I could assume your negotiating power would rise.

Baby Lockett was just getting his speed back at the end of last year from the injury the year before. He looked really slow the beginning of the year but started burning the last couple of games.  The Seahawks O line might be better this year and give prettyboy quarterback time and passing lanes to get the ball to him....

Pretty sure Pringle just played his way onto the 53 man roster last night.  :crossfingers:

possibly, but unlikely.   I had a meeting yesterday with a member of the Chiefs organization and he thought he was most likely a practice squad guy if they keep him.

McCrane got cut.  I think he was perfect in the preseason with two 50+ yd FGs.  Would be surprised if he didn't get a shot somewhere before the season was done.

Most people said he would but that he'd be picked up pretty quick
