Falcons signed QB Garrett Grayson, S Marcelis Branch, OL Daniel Brunskill, CB Deante Burton, WR Reggie Davis, TE Alex Gray, DL Joey Ivie, DL J.T. Jones and DL Taniela Tupou to reserve/future contracts.

The No. 75 overall pick of the 2015 draft, Grayson quickly flamed out in New Orleans. He spent 2017 on the Falcons' practice squad.

If I'm not mistaken, it would appear that Deante Burton made the switch to corner.

I had no idea, here's an article about it, though.

Didn’t see him (or see him mentioned) at any of the Eagles Super Bowl celebrations or anything. Did anyone else? Seems weird to me, I mean I know he was injured for 80% of the season, but I mean the guy still played in games this season and whatnot. He gets a ring, right?

Eagles expect Darren Sproles back in 2018
Darren Sproles is a soon-to-be 35-year-old running back coming off a torn ACL and without a contract. That might make it seem like he’s reached the end of his career.

But Eagles coach Doug Pederson says Sproles is likely to be back in Philadelphia this season.

“We’ve reached out to him during the free agency period, and talked to him,” Pederson said. “He’s expressed that he wants to be back here. He knows we want him back here. Heck yeah. He’s a big part of our team. [He’s a] punt returner, he’s a tremendous back, third down guy. So we’ll see what falls out. He wants to still play, and I want him to play, and I want him to be an Eagle.”

Pederson said there’s no rush because Sproles always gets himself into shape on his own time.

“He’s one of those guys, you’ve seen what he’s done in the last couple of offseasons,” Pederson said. “He hasn’t been here. He spends time with his family. He comes in from time to time, and I’m not concerned about Darren Sproles going forward. I just know the way he works, the way he trains, the way he gets himself prepared, if and when he decides to sign and come back, come on. We’re ready for him.”

Sproles is currently the active leader among all NFL players with 19,155 career all-purpose yards. With a good season in 2018, he could become just the fifth player in NFL history to top 20,000.

The Chiefs hosted free agent OT Cornelius Lucas.

It's the first interest in Lucas this offseason. Lucas has appeared in just six games since 2015 and was limited to one spot start with the Rams last year. He would be a depth signing in Kansas City.

Rams re-signed OT Cornelius Lucas.

Lucas visited the Chiefs last week, but that was his only hint of interest on the open market. He will compete for a backup role for the Rams.

Good to see Lucas is still having a career in the NFL. If I remember correctly, wasn’t he Snyder’s first commit when he came back?
Somewhere around there anyway

Lol @ the compliment of Pringle’s hands. If he drops a third of the ones he did at K-State, he’s not sticking.

Wish the Chiefs could’ve gotten Lazard. I think he’ll make a team.
