BJ got cut today.   :frown:

 :bang:
Where does he go from here? Practice squad? Wait for an injury?
Serious question. That sucks.

Good chance he gets picked back up once Pouncey goes on IR. Pouncey has to count against 53 then they get to place him on IR and pick someone else up. After Pouncey returns he'll get put on practice squad

I was told that BJ got cut because he himself is injured (high ankle hernia or something) but once he recovers there's a chance they could call him back.

B source or better?

I'd say A-

Mueller got cut, but sounds like they're gonna pick him up on the practice squad.

Tavon Rooks had a heart attack at chiefs training camp :frown: he's good now though.

Tyler is getting love from his teammates:

http://espn.go.com/blog/seattle-seahawks/post/_/id/14340/tyler-locketts-teammates-expecting-him-to-make-a-big-impact

When asked: Which teammate do you think is in store for a big year based on what you've seen this summer?

Quote from: Doug Baldwin
Tyler Lockett, for sure. He’s worked his tail off to get to this point. His work ethic is something that stands out to me. And I think that’s what’s going to ultimately drive him to success of being great, not only in this offense, but in this league. He has all the tools, all the ability and the work ethic and the intelligence, so there’s nothing in his way. I’m excited about his progress because he works really, really hard at it. And it’s genuine. So I’m excited about it.

Quote from: K.J. Wright
Besides myself [laughs]? There’s a lot of guys that look really good, but I’m really excited to see Lockett play. He’s looked tremendous this preseason -- both offense and special teams. I believe he’s going to make a lot of noise this year. ... I knew once we drafted him he was going to be the special-teams guy. But I didn’t think he would come in here and get touchdowns like that. This is the NFL. Everybody is good. But he’s looking very impressive. And I believe with our special-teams coach, they’re going to put him in good positions to be successful.

Quote from: Jimmy Graham
Lockett. Explosive player, young, but understands the game already.

Quote from: Garry Gilliam
Probably Lockett. I’m excited to watch him play. He’s been explosive on special teams and on offense. I’m excited to see him get the ball in his hands and make some plays.

Quote from: Brandon Mebane
I like Lockett. I like Frank Clark. I think they’re going to come in and be a big part of the team and contribute a whole lot.

Quote from: Ricardo Lockette
Oh, for sure 16 [Lockett]. Have you been getting that answer a lot? His attention to detail and his willingness to be great and just his confidence in himself.

Quote from: Justin Britt
Tyler Lockett. Just somebody who came in and worked his butt off right away, and you can tell that he wants to be great, and it shows.

Quote from: Cooper Helfet
Lockett’s been pretty solid. Exciting to see him in the return game and out there catching balls. He’s got small-ass hands, but he still catches everything, so it’s pretty impressive. It’s hard to come in as a rookie on this team and make a big contribution. It seems like he’s going to be ready to do that.

Its a shame that show stopped being interesting before they had a chance to feature the drafting of TLBL.

Rough news. If I remember correct, dude was a pretty good student. He'll have opportunities.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

One of his close relatives told me so idk take it for what it's worth.  I was just trying to provide a scoop and my source has always been accurate in the past.

If he was injured he would have received an injury settlement. There's no additional roster spot because of Maurkice Pouncey. He was placed on IR/Elgible to Return a long time ago and that's when a roster spot opened up. Starship Enterprise will end up on a practice squad.

Actually, if he's not on another team's practice squad then that's bad. I should have said I'd expect him to be on some team's practice squad.

Big Train, I saw a big, long thread of gibberish. I tried to clarify things to stop the "quotes." I'd rather focus on how the Seahawks traded up for Tyler Lockett in the third round as a special teamer, and now all of a sudden he's in their three-wide.

Shut. Your. Mouth.  :comehere:
