Ketchup v. Catsup
« on: April 08, 2010, 02:18:40 PM »
So, apparently some people call ketchup catsup.  Who the hell eats catsup on french fries when there is ketchup available?

disclaimer:  I hate both catsup and ketchup but probably hate catsup more

Hate it when people put ketchup on things that aren't french fries/onion rings.

Ketchup disgusts me.  Catsup makes me want to punch babies in the face.

Love marinara though.  Eat it on everything.  Weird.

you might as well just crack the eggs over your head and eat spoonfuls of ketchup. same result.

Hate. HATE ketchup. Get queasy when people next to me are eating it on anything.

Love cocktail sauce, salsa, bbq sauce, and marinara, though. Mustard/mayo disgust me just as much as ketchup.

ketchup and macaroni

My wife eats this abomination of a dish, and it makes me want to hurl.

Ketchup + Eggs, Ketchup + Macaroni, and Ketchup + anything other than potatoes or fried foods is disgusting.

Surprising thing that tastes good when drunk: taquitos and marinara sauce.  Try it.  Preferably after drinking a lot.

Used to HATE qatsup, ketchup, etc. Can tolerate it now but it just seems like extruded junk tomato parts with high fructose beryllium and other additives. Why not just embrace and enjoy the complex flavors of fried potatoes and grilled beef?

Ooh, nice outfit. What is that, Dacron?

Lucky for me, my taste-buds are so advanced I can enjoy and embrace the complex flavors of grilled beef as well as the tangy bliss that is ketchup/catsup AT THE SAME TIME! I'm am truly blessed. :lick: For the most part, I'll eat and enjoy anything that includes vinegar as a primary ingredient.  :lick: :lick:
