let's rant about people who, though not stupid, sometimes do idiotic things

as cf3 and i were pedaling along on our bbbr (best buds bike ride) today, i found myself growing more and more irritated by the minute. by the minute, guys. because OF ALL THE IDIOTS WHO HAVE EARBUDS IN AND CAN'T HEAR ME YELLING "ON YOUR LEFT" AND ALMOST TURN ME INTO A VICTIM OF BICYCLE MANSLAUGHTER  :curse:

it's a heavily trafficked trail with lots of blind curves.. both bikers and joggers had head phones in and did not know i was there until i was beside them.. i don't want to hurt anyone ya know.. i slowed down obviously, but still, if they veer off suddenly it's gonna be trouble.

I once had a cyclist ask for my information after an accident where he was at fault. I was lulz then took off down the river trail and did jumps and see saws and blind curves til my hearts content.

Also, as much as I frequented the river trails, I don't know how there was never a wreck.

ever since a friend of mine told me about a guy he knew accidentally killing a jogger (who was listening to ear buds) on a bike trail, i've been really paranoid and anxious about it. and there are lots of kids on the trail too. the other day, this family of 6 was right in front of me and the kids were spread out covering the entire trail and their parents had no idea i was coming towards them. i just get really  :ohno: about it.

Dumbass bicyclists flying down trails really bother me.  I got so sick of them yelling at me to get to the left, only to nearly get ran over by them, that I only run with headphones in to block them out. Idiots!  :shakesfist:
