They are going to target Schelly all game, as would I.

I don't disagree, but it's going to be in how they get Shepard alone in his zone that's going to matter.

My guess is that we try not to let that happen.

This isn't going to look a lot like last year in the fact that their running game isn't anywhere near as good as it was last year, and Knight just hasn't been the threat to run, statistically, like he was last year.  I think a lot of that has to do with the same problem we have, which is if Knight goes down running, they're left with a really, really subpar backup QB.

Our tackling all around Schelly is much better.  We're much more athletic in the levels in front of him.  I'm not as concerned about him in the running game as I am him trying to assist coverage of Shepard or Neal.
What if Schelly doesn't play and a future legend rises.

I'm all for Prewett.  I just don't see Snyder starting a true freshman.

I'd love to be wrong, though.

We know how much this game means to Bobby - I am afraid he forces Heupel to take the reigns of Knight and lets him run :ohno:

wtf kind of crap is this?

Kansas State at Oklahoma (Oct. 18): OU needs this win to stay in the Big 12 and playoff races. K-State needs it to join the Big 12 and playoff races.

OU is the poster child of the Big 12 and gets an extra win when figuring post-season locale (similar to SEC teams)

I finally watched 2 Sundays ago's OBz Dinkmentia Half-Hour show, the one taped after the Tech game.  Wyatt was asking about the bye week and preparation, etc., and Snyder noted that OU also would have their bye week and 2 weeks to prep for us.

#OUHaikuWeek
To the contrary, I am listening to the voice of OU football right now and they're anything but confident.  OU went 1-13 on 3rd down conversions last week and had about 130 yards passing.  They're playing a rant from the K-State Mask, talking a lot of crap from a couple of years ago.  Norman will be hostile.  I am picking OU by 7, but I hope I am wrong.
