This Lakers team will be one of the more assy champions in our lifetime. Markieff, Danny Green, and Caruso on the court in a buzzer beater situation

I hate the lakers but this is a terrible take.
Nice job offering counter examples

I wanted to give you a chance to come to your senses.  You’re calling a team with greatest to ever play and a top 5 player in the league ass.  They would absolutely beat last years raptors and the warriors before they got KD.

The roster after those two is about as bad as it gets though.

They were the number one seed in a very deep western conference
They beat the nuggets decisively (who beat a very deep clippers team)
They have kuz, rajon, dwight in addition to the folks mir mentioned (green wouldve been on the floor for the raptors as well)
They’re good at defense
THEY HAVE AD AND LEBRON

Danny Green alone justifies the assy label.

Danny green has already won championships on two different teams averaging significant minutes and he’s about to win a third

They are definitely very good at defense

You still haven't come up with a team that doesn't have a worst five on the court at the end of a finals game, I'll even let you include Rondo and make it 6.

The only other NBA champion with even arguably a worse top 6 is Cleveland but even they had a younger Lebron and a capable JR Smith to go with weirdo Kyrie. Honestly it's a testament to how good LeBron and AD are to have to drag those bums up and down the floor in the finals.

What I don't understand is why Vogel even had those five on the court together. Why is Markieff getting minutes over Kuz, especially when you aren't getting any stops at all and you need scores? Rondo and KCP closed out game 4, where the hell were they? Why did Lebron only guard Butler on the last defensive set, that was completely broken?

That group of five on the floor was assy, there's no doubt about it, but maybe the focus should be on Vogel for putting that trash on there. BTW, Danny Green has two rings, not one, and he wasn't looked at to close down games for either team. I know he doesn't play, but does anyone think Green is a better shooter than JR Smith?

Danny is a career 40% 3pt shooter.  They got the shot they wanted, they just missed.  I view markieff as a very serviceable nba player.  Anyways, it’s kind of lol that you guys think the Cavs or raptors had a better roster than these lakers but you’re entitled to your opinions.

Kobe probably would've preferred they wear their home gold and win the game.

Opened this thread expecting this. Leaving thread satisfied.

Miami blew it tonight.

Not sure if Lebron has 3 more rings left in him, but he is definitely the GOAT if he can get three more.

On one hand, it's boring that the same dude is in The Finals every year. On the other, whether or not he'll win The Finals is a toss up.

What the NBA did with the bubble this year was flat out incredible.  Just unreal they could keep that many people safe, fed, contained, and without a single positive test once there is crazy.  The NBA is the model organization for all other professional sports organizations.

Even if the Cavs and Raptors had worse rosters, I said the Lakers have "one of the worst" but apparently reading isn't a strong suit of yours.
