Too bad for OKC they will become irrelevant after Westbrook leaves next year.

How?

How is it not???

It's not like the Thunder were some scrub team.  They were up 3-1 on the Warriors and had it locked up, Klay had that historical game to end it.  I don't know it's just a lame move IMO

I lost a lot of respect for KD.  Winning a title is the ultimate goal and I get that.  But great superstars want that challenge.  The challenge of him winning a title in Okc was definitely achieveable.  I meen Okc could have been Nba favorite by Vegas odds or at least top 2.   So instead he joins a team that went 73-9, has a 2 time MVP and a super deep talent roster already.    We came up just short this year and I don't want the challenge to help an already talented Okc team go for a title in 2017.

Wasn't there a lot of speculation that KD didn't want to play with Westbrook because he wanted to be the man on his team and not part of a 1-2 superstar punch.  I guess joining a team with the MVP, a 2nd team all nba (Draymond) and a 3rd team all nba (Klay) would suggest that being the Man wasn't that important I guess

I didn't lose any respect for Durant because I don't lose/gain respect for people I've never met based on idiotic things like where they choose to play basketball, but it does make the Warriors less likeable.  They won't be the villain the Heat were for those years with Lebron but they will def be less liked.

i would have respected durant a lot more had he signed with the worst team in the league.  i'd like to see him do it the right way.
instead, what we're left is is nothing more than a rodman to the bulls move.  so weak, kd, so damn weak. #lostrespect.

player option after year 1 is great, he can do the exact same thing next year and play with a bunch of other studs.  The new NBA is the tits.

i like the fact that there isn't a salary cap.  i mean, there kinda is, but there really isn't.  and really like that some owners are like wgaf.

It will take 3 or 4 years for the league to regain some balance. Too many guys like Curry and Thompson making way under market value right now.

Good for KD if this is what makes him happy.
