Too long, too many teams.  Needs to eliminate 2 teams from each conference.
eliminating 2 teams would reduce the number of games but wouldn't make it shorter

I know, but that's the biggest thing for me. The NBA overall is a pretty awful product in the regular season with 50% getting into the playoffs and about 30% of teams pretty openly tanking.  There are basically 16 playoff spots for 22ish teams trying to get them.  If you try and have an all-star, you should be able to get in.  Fixing the lottery should also be a priority.

To shorten: First round is back to best of 5.  Games every other day with an extra day for travel.  The finals took almost 3 weeks and that is stupid.

The 2-2-1-1-1 format affected the length more than anything. The only unnecessary off day was between Games 1 and 2.

Yea, that needs to go too.  Back to 2-3-2.  Would shave at least a week off the playoffs right there.

I've always loved 2-2-1-1-1. 2-3-2 appears to burden the higher seed too much if they happen to lose one of the first two.

The overall symmetry of just about every aspect of the NBA playoffs gives it the appearance of being extremely fair.

It seems very weird to have the first three rounds be one format, and then a different format for the Finals. 2-2-1-1-1 is the best way.

2-3-2 was for when cross-country travel was basically doing the oregon trail by covered wagon.

Are you saying they use 2-3-2 in the first 3 rounds? Because if you are, you're not only wrong but also a dumbass.

Such a Knick move but at least they didn't give up any picks and actually got one back.

I will say his slashing ability complements shooters like Melo & Porzingas better than most of the Bulls rosters when Rose was there.  As much as I hate when people say this about cbb & cfb blue bloods I do think the NBA is better when the Knicks are good.

The Knicks have been terrible for most of the past 15 years and the NBA has done just fine.

team/fan affiliations aside, what are your top 3 nba jerseys?

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

New warning: Don't get in a fight with someone who doesn't even need to bother to buy ink.
