Kerr has a higher 3pt%, but he also averaged 6 points a game over his career, and less than one 3 made per game.

Curry's three point percentage is crazy good but what makes it even crazier is how high his usage is. Look at this list:

http://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/fg3_pct_career.html

Reggie Miller is the only other real star on the list and even his usage was quite a bit lower than Curry's.

Majerle never shot 40% on threes for a season.  Put down the NBA Jam controller.

yeah, I actually didn't realize how good Ray Allen was in Seattle. Had pretty high usage and good percentages, but still not in the same league as Steph.

are you serious? Curry's usage is 29% this year WHILE he's shooting 44% from 3. That combination is ridiculous.

Right, I was saying that it's unimportant that Kerr's % was so high because he barely touched the ball.

Curry is definitely a better a shooter than Steve Kerr and without a doubt the best shooter ever.

Fun fact: Kerr played at the private school across the street from me right now.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

yeah wasn't his dad murdered in Lebanon? (that would be a slightly less fun fact)

Yeah, they tend to not put that on the banners in the gym.

Quote
Four years after his father's murder, Steve Kerr played a game at Arizona State in which he was greeted with mocking chants by 10 to 15 fans of "P.L.O." and "where's your dad?" during the pregame warm-up.[10][11] Though teary-eyed, Kerr scored 20 points in the first half, making all six of his 3-point attempts.[11]

Wilt Chamberlain is the best shooter of all time and his usage is absurd.

100 rough ridin' points
Shot 73% from the field in one season 68% in another.
And every night he consumed copious amounts of drugs and alcohol, and slept with a dozen women. If he had worked out like Curry and had the 3 pointer he would have shot 130% from the field and averaged 70 ppg.

Unless and until the nba makes a rule prohibiting players from hovering around the 3pt line for more than three seconds, it's not even debatable that Wilt the Stilt is the GOAT. 73% FG%, 100 points, 30,000 women, are you rough ridin' serious?!?!?!?
