That defensive play by one if their defenders in the first half, the nod where we tricked the goalie into coming way out of the goal box and then we basically had a shot 3 yards away, is haunting me. Something about kicking it right at that guy that seems like a really poor choice.

How often do you see as bad of a touch as what happened in the 5th, at this level? I know wings some times miss a touch all together on the sidelines when receiving a pass, but that is usually because they are looking up to survey the field, but in a situation where the only thing you have to do is clear the rough ridin' ball, at this level, has anyone ever seen such a shitty touch?

I was also disappointed that Howard allows Nani (some dude who hadn't scored a goal since peewee soccer league when they were playing an all girls team, break him down like that. I know Howard had a few great plays tonight, but Nani made him look silly as he kicked it right over his head.
