winner of this group (Ivory Coast, Colombia, Japan, Greece) will play 2nd place of the Costa Rica/Italy/England/Uruguay group in the knockout stage.

second place of this group will play first place of the other group.

holy crap, Colombia just had a great oppy for a counter. it was like 4 on 1, but Ivory Coast is like twice as fast and a bunch of defenders got back in time. that was amazing to watch fast guys get outrun by even faster guys

I didn't mean this year necessarily. I hope it happens in my lifetime though.

I do too. We would have a better chance if we didn't have to wait 4 years between each World Cup. Why can't they just play this thing ever other year?
