english league will be the easiest to follow in america (you can catch every. single. match. if you have nbcsn) and will have the most opportunity for discussion/rivalry on this blog.  pick one of these teams:

ohh great, just what we need, more bandwagon fans.  good lord people have some self-respect.

to the guy looking to pick a team,  look into leeds united or nottingham forest.  these are two former powers who have fallen on hard times.  when they get back to the premier league, watch out.

or southampton would be good.

Who cares if we're bandwagony? I don't need to pick a losery team like Fulham to feel good about myself.

he wants to be like a k-state level club.  k-state is not bandwagoney.  all cat fans i know have a degree from there.  you listed only bandwagoney teams.

You think Everton and Tottenham are bandwagony? LOL at Leeds/Forest being K-State level. Southampton sure.

Everton is really only bandwagony if you consider bandwagony not getting relegated.

I really, really like not having a team.  I watch NBA and all soccer that way (except I do root for Celtic in Champions League) and it is really fun.  You can kind of just like players and enjoy the drama of what is happening.  I mostly root for underdogs or cool stuff to happen.

there are tons of Everton and Spurs fans in the states.  right now leeds and forest are going through their bleak period just like what we had with basketball.  they'll be back someday.

Also, are there any Man U fans on here?  Because their new jerseys with the Chevy logo all huge on the front is amazing.  It makes me want to root really hard for them his year.  They really are America's team.

That is your answer Rusty.  We are rooting for Man U together.
