Yeah, and take the south into consideration and you have three teams that aren't garbage K-State being an elite, Baylor and Mizzou being pretty good.  We need KU to get themselves up to just below pretty good to help the conference.

Exactly.  How terrible is it for our league that one team has won the league the last 6 years, yet they've only made it to the 2nd weekend of the tournament 3 times in those 6 years?  Terrible for the perception of the Big 12, absolutely terrible.
