I haven't seen any estimates on costs, but obviously you can meaningfully expedite the process the more judges you hire. It's a great use of money if you're interested in enforcing the immigration LAWS.

However, quickly processing meritless asylum and other immigration applications doesn't give the performative cruelty flavors that MAGAs crave.

The previous administration let millions into the country, and there's no way they sent back 75% of the people they encountered at the border itself. Not to mention the hundreds of thousand they flew into the country using NGO's under the cover of darkness.

Why didn't they start hiring more judges?  We all know the answer to that.  Win the election - blanket amnesty.

Viewers of this blog are reminded once again that #blueanon hero Barry "Deporter in Chief" Obama removed/deported 5 million illegal immigrants.  Barry's ICE launched numerous sweeping apprehension and deportation operations including ICE operations that targeted women and children for immediate deportation.

Rank and file #blueanon white folks, including hardcore #blueanon suburban soccer moms clearly supported the entirety of the prolific deportation/removal operations under Barrack "rule of law" Obama aka Barry "you just can't jump over a river" Obama.

If Barry could deport 5 million with a tiny fraction of the budget, why the hell are we spending all this money?

There's a lot more illegal immigrants in the country now.

cat . . . do things cost the same now as they did back in 2012?

Edit: Viewers will note that cat as expected has completely ignored the point - that being Barrack Obama was a prolific deporter of illegal immigrants.

If the US population is estimated at 342 million, 5 million people is about 1.5%. What percentage of the population do you think should be deported today?

I have no idea.

I am just going to continue to note that you continue to avoid the fact that a Democrat POTUS was a prolific deporter of illegal immigrants and that he, Joe and Hillary ran on a platform that stated that illegal immigration was a threat to American workers and an evil Republican plot.  Hillary's husband made that a central plank of his administration.

What changed, cat?

Well that's what I'm asking you. It sounds like we want to deport somewhere like 5% of the population now given that we're dramatically ratcheting up after historically having been pretty tough on immigration. What changed?

There was absolutely nothing historically tough on illegal immigration in the previous 4 years and border crossings were all time record highs, and that's just the known border encounters.

But please continue to dance around the question and I will continue to laugh at you . .

Dax, you obviously want the immigration issue resolved.

Are you more in favor of:
1. Doing what is being done now
2. Funding existing systems adequately to allow them to manage the level of need they are facing using our long time existing laws

Assume they cost the same. Why do you choose the one you choose?

There's simply no way the 2nd one is going to move expeditiously, I don't care how much you fund it.

But I want to thank you and the whole of #blueanongE for repeatedly agreeing with and subsequently hammering home my point.  The previous 4 years was intentional.  There was catastrophic failure in duty across the whole of the Pedo Pete administration.  Failure at such scale is either abject incompetence or willful intent, and to fail in such a prolific way requires intent.

So, you prefer what is happening now as the proper way of handling our immigration issues?

Do you find this sustainable?  At what point do we stop having masked unidentified men kidnapping humans?  Is there a number?  Is there a date?  Do we never stop?

How confident are you we could move on from this to a more bureaucratic method if this is so easy, fully funded, and already happening?  Do you see someone in power who has the ability to do that?

In regard to "proper way" we experienced 8 years of a Democratic POTUS who apparently defined the proper way, we also had a Democratc POTUS who signed expedited removal.

So what is the "proper way" using the precedent of 2 Dem POTUS' as our guide?

You also keep referencing the masks, and the masks are being used because #blueanon keeps breaking the laws regarding interfering with Federal Law Enforcement officers conducting official duties with zeal.

Why does #blueanon think that they can just pick and chose what laws they want to follow now?

Isn’t there a pretty big difference between deporting by turning away at the border and hired brutes rounding up people and throwing them in paddy wagons?
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Barry Obama’s ICE ran huge sweeping operations. Some of which have been documented on this blog.

Dem POTUS’ singed into law expedited removal without a hearing and another deported over 5 million illegal immigrants.

Crackertown #blueanon was fine with it. What changed?

PS one deported thousands of criminal aliens with no due process. Special note to intelligent viewers of this blog. Rank and file white person #blueanon said nothing.

After we increase the ICE budget 20 fold, do we start deporting gang members or are we just going to grab 20 times more people from their immigration hearings while they're trying to continue living here legally?

I'm sure the ICE Industrial/Paramilitary Complex will quietly fold up shop and ride off into the sunset once they have secured the border.

You know the answer to that.

We have had a militarized police force for decades now as well as a war on drugs.  Solving gang problems is hard.  Grabbing regular randos is super easy.  This administration doesn't have the ability to tackle hard things.

You're doing a great job of avoiding my questions, just like Lick, StalkerBot and the rest of #blueanongE.

Bill Clinton signed expedited removal into law . . . Barry Obama quite literally gave a very specific speech about illegal immigration and the rule of law, and that he was going to follow the rule of law. Subsequently he deported millions of illegal immigrants, used expedited removal with zeal, and deported criminal illegals without due process with zeal.

What changed CNS?  Why can't you answer that simple question?

Viewers of this blog should now join me in     at people like Lick and Cat who believe it still costs the same to do things in 2025 as it did in 2011, while also avoiding the fact that there is a lot more illegal immigrants in the United States now.

They will also not touch the issue of the previous administration intentionally failing to enforce the rule of law . . . they will not touch it.
