Which do you think will have a higher total number of people: the crowd at 311 in 2014 or # of bandmembers onstage playing in The Urge?

Just home from seeing Morrissey tonite...  Incredible performer/singer as was expected.  Even though I'd read that there would be some pretty horrific video shown of slaughterhouses, etc. during the playing of "Meat is Murder", I wasn't quite prepared for it.  :sdeek:

I will, however, remain as carnivorous as I was prior.

It really was a good show, however I'm with ya 100% on that time travel thing... Never got to see The Smiths back in the day.

As good as Morrissey is alone, I'd love to see him on stage with Johnny Marr.  The band was nice, but nothing like having Marr up there.

Leawood is having summer concerts at town center plaza. Presidents of the USA are playing, really shocked and excited they are. Blind Melon are too, but I'm not so sure on bands where the main guy died

Well I posted about it in the Wichita concerts thread. Tommy Lee's drum rig was awesome.

How was the KISS show, @Bookie?

Pretty standard as far as KISS goes... This was my fourth time to see them over the years and nothing really changes too much, although as hard as it is to believe, I really think there may have been MORE fire and explosions than usual.  Right after opening with Psycho Circus, Paul Stanley said, "We're here tonight to play rock n roll and blow crap up..." and they didn't disappoint.

Def Leppard was surprisingly good as well.  All in all, a very solid classic rock show despite the fact that it was over 100 degrees for the duration.

I'm about 90% sure we're gonna head down for Motley Crue and Alice Cooper on Wednesday eve if the heat breaks as it's forecasted too.
