So you are eating on the company, but you are that worried about the tip?

why would i choose to eat somewhere where i have to tip out of pocket when i can just as easily eat somewhere where i expense the tip?

Because dobber told you to.
Or, just leave the tip when you swipe the card. Based on how they are set up, they probably split tips. If you feel like you over tipped at the end of the meal, ask to see the manager and tell him why. You will probably get a free milkshake, and I haven't even told you about their handspun milkshakes (which can be infused with alcohol and made to be really tasty and alcoholly)! :lick:

don't be offended dobber.  maybe mention to your brother that some customers might like a clear tipping policy given the ambiguous nature and timing of the service.

btw, tip and ask for a refund is ridiculous.  also the bermuda grass is thriving.  i'm going to spray again today, but the first application did nothing.

tipping, I know this is a thing with you. Honestly, it's my bro's place, I am going to tip well so they don't think my bro's bros are tight asses.

bermuda grass- You found the products I mentioned? Spray it again today and maybe again in another week. The earlier the better, but I said it is not easy to kill. Hopefully you can really knock it back. If you see some results this year that you like, try it earlier next year, before it really starts growing good. For what it is worth, I was too late to really knock mine back very far this year. I have neighbor that has basically let bermuda take over his yard and I just try to stop it from spreading too far into mine. Because of crappy weekends for lawn work and then family travel, I missed the best window here in the Carolinas. I will still spray to limit the spread and maybe kill off some of it, but I am pretty sure I will have some bermuda along the edge of my lawn all summer.

yeah, found the stuff.  one of those bottles that you connect to a hose.  i never trust that they dose correctly though.  i sprayed the crap out of my lawn and the bottle was still at least 3/4 full.  it's a small yard tho.

I hate Ready-To-Spray and Ready-To-Use bottles. Dosing sucks.  I buy in concentrated bottles when possible and then mix it in my own sprayer.

Screw both and hit up Hopdoddy.  Same concept. Make sure to tell 'em you want the mocat special (medium rare).

Only tipping at the table is probably what most people do.

cash tips don't show up on your cc receipt so then you aren't reimbursed for them when you turn in your receipts.

pay and table service is an awkward tipping arrangement is what i'm noticing.

Restaurants in the bay area love this and it's definitely very awkward.

RE: the tipping at the counter, it's @wichitapizzacat.

Dobber, figure out if anybody is going to FattyFest from any of the places where your bro's restaurants are, and make some arrangements where he sends a gang of food with that person.  Maybe freeze a bunch of patties and put them in the things people fly fish back with from seattle and we'd set up a grill out in the street.
