I'm jealous of Browns fans.

Even though they wasted the 22th pick?

Greatest part of the NFL Draft so far? Reading all the posts about it by people who know absolutely NOTHING about talent evaluation besides what the people at ESPN who know absolutely nothing about it either tell them to believe...

Jake Waters will be the KC starting qb in 2015. Write it down.

he already is

if i was chiefs fanatic like some of you guys in this thread, why not like this pick?  the chiefs defense was terrible last year.  you don't need a star qb to win the league but you do need a defense.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

I'm just in ah that some of my favorite bbs'rs think some raw qb is the answer. I mean we need to draft one sometime soon, but you're stretching a bit, bitching about a pro bowl qb who made it there w/ nothing? You know it's true too. We're in the best spot we've been in since Green. Did you want to be last years Jets or something? :dunno: We need playmakers and I'm floored that I can barely name a few.

this is a 6-10 team and then your boy, dickless smith is gonna walk, costing us 2 2nd rounders, all for the funniest damn shitshow of a playoff game chokejob that anyone has ever seen.

we are in an awful spot. tamba is done. flowers best days are behind him. DJamer will be on the decline as soon as this year. jamaal has already outlived his expected shelf-life. bowe is an effing waste carrying around an albatross of a contract around his neck.

and give me a break with that pro-bowl qb crap. dude had like 5 touchdowns through the first 7 weeks. i mean good grief.

as i'm typing this, the vikings just showed that they've got a pair of balls and took teddy. burn it the eff down.

They will re-sign Smith. Tamba, Flowers, DJamer, and Charles have years left to find replacements for them. Bridgewater sucks. That said, our pick still sucked. Should have gone DB. Plenty of WRs to draft one in the 3rd round.

j-dub melted down pretty hard last night and made a lot of pretty dumb posts. i know why wacky posts over the top positive things about alex: it's because j-dub posts over the top negative things about alex and wacky has to counteract it.
last year was a pretty bizarre year. i mean the offense was basically a billy butler GIDPing machine while the defense was 2000 ravensing everything in its path, and then all of a sudden it switched. we were the 2003 chiefs, scoring all over the place, and not stopping anyone from scoring. alex was a big part of both halves. we played incredibly conservative in the first half, and then let alex loose, culminating with being up 38 to rough ridin' 10 on the road in a playoff game without jamaal charles.

so where does that leave us? imo, the defense falling apart was a pretty obvious and scary thing, so i wanted some defensive help in this draft. i posted earlier in the chiefs thread that free safety was the biggest offseason concern, and to my knowledge we still have not addressed it. however they did pick up a stud pass rusher who could be great for depth at a position where both tamba and dirty H missed some time last year. i still want a FS to pair up with Berry, and a WR that doesn't suck to line up opposite 82.

also j-dub: alex smith is going to be the QB in 2015. you think dorsey/reid (who value draft picks immensely) are going to throw those picks away in the alex trade, and then keep him for only 2 years? LOL, no, no, no. they will figure out a way to keep alex here so shut the eff up and deal with it. let's get on #teamfixthedefense

The pick is fine. He'll probably be a good player on a team in 6-10 to 10-6 purgatory.

Pretty happy with the Odell Beckham pick for the G'men, I figured we'd pass and take Donaldson.

No. You guys already have a thread dedicated to those losers. Take Alex vs. The Defense over there, for pages of it here :Yuck: How will you dumbass chiefs fans ruin the thread tonight without a 2nd round pick?

I'm pretty sure since Alex Smith is the reason we don't have a 2nd round pick that we won't have a much a problem coming up with ways of continuing to ruin the thread this evening.

There was an article in the star with Lucas's agent being pretty confident he'll get drafted.  But other than that nothing.
