I'm just in ah that some of my favorite bbs'rs think some raw qb is the answer. I mean we need to draft one sometime soon, but you're stretching a bit, bitching about a pro bowl qb who made it there w/ nothing? You know it's true too. We're in the best spot we've been in since Green. Did you want to be last years Jets or something? :dunno: We need playmakers and I'm floored that I can barely name a few.

That's all great.  Now tell me who starts at QB in 2015.  Because of the Alex Smith trade, not someone they select in the 2nd round.

this is a 6-10 team and then your boy, dickless smith is gonna walk, costing us 2 2nd rounders, all for the funniest damn shitshow of a playoff game chokejob that anyone has ever seen.

we are in an awful spot. tamba is done. flowers best days are behind him. DJamer will be on the decline as soon as this year. jamaal has already outlived his expected shelf-life. bowe is an effing waste carrying around an albatross of a contract around his neck.

and give me a break with that pro-bowl qb crap. dude had like 5 touchdowns through the first 7 weeks. i mean good grief.

as i'm typing this, the vikings just showed that they've got a pair of balls and took teddy. burn it the eff down.

I almost stopped reading after you blamed our qb for getting us a 4 touchdown lead without Charles, but I continued reading cause you're my friend. Also, the vikings just drafted another Ponder. Congrats? :dunno:

There's love for your team, then there's common sense and reality. I know which side I'm on.

I think we can all agree it was a boring draft pick. He might be OK tho. :dunno:

Why the eff are people bitching about not taking Bridgewater, when Dennard and Lee were available, which are much bigger positions of need? Bridgewater would have been a reach, just like Ford was a reach. It's pretty amazing that we didn't end up drafting a need, and also didn't get the best player available. eff that.

I like wacky avoiding the question of who the 2015 QB starter is.  Nothing says planning for playoff victories like "Starting QB in 2 years =  :dunno:".

alex dickless smith is walking after this year. the cap is already strapped, if they do extend him, they are basically waving goodbye to justin houston. so unfortunately, quarterback was a need. in fact, if you don't have a top 10 QB in the league at any given time, then QB is always a need - because,

We all know it will be smith. They'll give him this year to prove himself and if that doesn't work, we'll finally draft some bust next year.

alex is a free agent after this year bud. so, again, who will be the qb in 2015? chase? bray? someone else?

it should have been teddy bridgewater.

I know he is. Our franchise is playing tickle butt w/ him and his agent. This will be a entertaining year.

our franchise doesn't have any cap room because we gave it to dwayne bowe, chase daniel and dustin colquitt. with the browns kicking ass now, we are the official laughingstock of the entire national football league.

I agree. I just don't think Bridgewater is the answer. Would love to see us take Murray in the 3rd/4th.

Does David Glass secretly own the Chiefs, and the Hunts are just a front for him?

He has good arm strength, shows good accuracy on deep balls, above average mobility in the pocket, ran a pro-style offense in a very good football conference for four years, and is very good at reading the defense. He isn't terribly tall, and has shown a tendency to get balls batted down at the line of scrimmage, and obviously the ACL thing. I think he'd be an absolute steal in the middle rounds, and would have probably been the guy that the "We must take a QB in the first round" crowd would have been clamoring for last year if he had declared.
