Well, the Southland Conference officials didn't show up two weeks ago in Lake Charles when beat Sam Houston to win at the least a share of the conference championship.   So, as our Defensive Coordinator Lance Guidry says, when he was the interim head coach of Western Kentucky before a bowl game, "We are going to go get our damn trophy!!"  when we got to Lamar this weekend.

This is been getting a little play around here this week.

It is fun, but sometimes it can be frustratingly fun, if that makes any sense.   I'm not giving him back though!   ;)

And our options are JV Joe and a wide receiver.

Our problems go beyond our QB situation. The worst D in the league and no play makers is probably where I would start first.

:dunno: I mean, half our roster of QB's are hurt too. Poor Sams would have been crushed behind this offense.  :frown: It's broken like half our guys. I wish we still had him tho.

I wasn't calling him poor. I was saying it like "that poor thing, that's tall and skinny like Ertz, wouldn't have stood a chance behind our death row of phantom blockers" kind of poor.

6'2", 210, is kinda skinny. But whatever, yes, we all agree we wish we had him this year.

Your favorite quarterback of all time is Jay Cutler.

I just think your argument that we have other qb's that got hurt, so therefore, poor Daniel would get hurt is not a very good one.
