We're they donations from Texas HS football teams 20 years ago?

They might have been using older balls rather than newer ones because it was drizzling rain the whole game and old ones may not be as slick as new ones.

Doc
Somebody get Doc a body bag cause he just killed Wacky.

No problem.   I've been around this board enough to know not to take offense of any comments.

I never paid attention to the footballs until you said something.   I looked at some of the photos of previous home games and the balls used Saturday were definitely older looking than the ones at the home games before.   So, that is my theory.  Used older balls that were less slippery in the wet conditions instead of newer more slippery balls.

Our coaches would still figure out a way to lose more than 1 game.

Even their dumb fuckery wouldn't have been able to lose any game other than OU with a QB groomed to run Snyder's offense.

13/30 for 137 yards... They're secondary must have been solid!

Just dripping with sarcasm. You rough ridin' hate him, and what you hate even more is that we still talk about him. You just can't understand how we think he was better than your boy waters, it just infuriates you to no end.

I have my facts straight, wacky. The fact that you think I don't, is well, sad.

ONE of our worst games of the season but it was a W, so I will take it.

Making the long drive back home from Abilene now.

If we don't play better next week,  we will get crushed.

Safe travels, Doc...

Looked to me like a classic "look ahead/trap" game to me. Clearly they took ACU for granted and focus was on SHSU and the revenge matchup a little too soon.  But, like you said, they got the W and that's all that matters at this point.

See y'all Saturday!!

As mentioned earlier, the team made the 8+ hour bus ride to Abilene, didn't play very well, had 5 turnovers and still came away with a 15-13 victory.   Offense had a bad game but the defense and special teams saved the day.

Not too many Daniel highlights but he did score our only TD of the game.

Biggest game of the year coming up this Saturday.   We definitely need to play better.
