If any of you guys are bored like me waiting for the season to start:
Last year when Daniel was transferring to McNeese there was a discussion about the best ever McNeese QB. I found a video of Kerry Joseph's senior highlights. And that is who, in my opinion, was the best ever at McNeese. He was a dual threat QB before the dual threat QB became cool. He had a canon for an arm and threw the best deep ball that I have ever seen by a McNeese QB.
After McNeese he bounced around the NFL some but never got to play QB. He played as DB for Seattle for a few years. He then moved on to the Canadian Football League where he had a great career as QB. His team won the Grey Cub one year and he was the Grey Cup MVP.
Before last season he was doing a coaching internship for the New Orleans Saints. Sometimes, the Saints have impromptu QB challenges in preseason camp. They included Kerry in the challenge and he won it against Drew Brees and the other Saints backup QB's.
I hope Daniel can play this season like Kerry did in his senior season. Kerry did come to a practice a week or so ago to watch practice and Matt Viator had him talk to the team.
