Stan story:

SpudCat, ChodoCat, and I are getting off the plane at MCI after the '06 Vegas tournament.  Stan walks up to SpudCat, says he likes his sweatshirt, straightens said sweatshirt, and zips it from half zipped to three quarter zipped.

That is the most stud thing I have ever heard.

Also, my stan story starts w/ 610. His son (at the time) went to school where I was covering a game for the "high school game of the week". It was a bball game and it was the night before a big matchup (2010?) vs. ku on a Saturday. I was doing sideline reporting for the game and he came over to me and started talking w/ me. We talked K-State. I asked him why he hadn't left yet for the game and he said he had some big deal ceo/president stuff to do later that night at this house. Dude does it all. He whispered to me "I bet you weren't wearing that silly little 610 polo" and I  right back at him. He knew and I knew, 810 was where it was at. Great moment.

That's a great story. One thing, though...Stan is a CFO.

This one time Stan Webber took me out drinking.  We hopped into his car and he drove us out to a vacant parking lot.  Confused I turned to him and said "Stan, there's no bar here." to which he responded "Just be patient".  Sure enough within a year they built a bar around us.  So on opening day we walk in and Stan orders a round of shots.  He takes his shot, guts it, then slams his glass on the floor and proceeds to burn the place to the ground.  Over the roar of the flames I heard him shout "Always leave things the way you found 'em!"

Stan Weber sounds like a brave and decent man. But his(and this boards) excuses for losing & eventually winning later on the season really puts a mark on your legacies. Theyre terrible.

Im going to need more examples of why Stan Weber is a stud, and why i should begin to value his opinion(s).

was on the Sporting Park tour with Stud Stan.  Lady asked "who was that guy on the field, is that one of the players? Is he good?"
Stud Stan and I looked at each other and smiled at our common understanding, but my eyes told him "you take this one, Stud Stan" and he proceeded to inform her that yes, it was Matt Besler and he is very good.

In his spare time, studbot created a board game in which he creates the Super Bowl teams and plays this game based on probabilities and other junk to try and predict how the Super Bowl will play out.  He basically predicted that the Seahawks would stomp the Broncos, wasn't surprised a bit by it.

A couple years ago, Stan and I went deer hunting. He shot this monster buck with a bow from about 300 yards. We proceeded to load the buck in the back of my truck (Stan doesn't own a truck, he's way to cool for that.  Just borrows one when he needs one).  We start driving home and the buck starts thrashing around in the back. Wasn't dead.  Wasn't NEAR DEAD!  Stan jumps out and proceeds to get this monster buck in a headlock. He yells at the buck "who's the greatest college football color man of all time!"  Then he manipulates the deers lips into saying STAAAANNNNN WEBBBBBEEEER.  Well, it didn't sound exactly like "Stan Weber" but it was pretty good for a deer.
