Yep, having a secretive, wild animal surrounded by 50,000 screaming people is a great idea.

That's what I walked away with from the Real Sports episode on this last November, for sure.
If we use a zoo animal, then its happiness was long ago ignored.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

A tame bobcat acts pretty similar to a house cat, and I don't think too many people would object to that.

We can just put Touchdown on a leash, walk him onto the field or along the terraces at the beginning of the game, get some good publicity/exposure, and take him off. (The terraces/field, not the leash)

But you know what would be better; put a Willie the Wildcat Mastcot head on this little sucker.  Bet no one would complain that we just have a head on a person in a jersey anymore.  Better yet, we could put the old style Willie head on him.  Of course we would need to keep him in a cage, due to the scare factor.
Kids be shitting and getting.  Especially when our fake Willie pulls the real scary Willie around the field after we score.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

Whatever the animal is, it needs to be able to run on the field and retrieve the tee during kickoffs.

can you guys imagine how amazing it would be to have a menagerie of farm livestock fenced up in all the corners? like, you've got some stupid cow over here, 3 pigs laying in mud over here, some chickens sitting on some dumb eggs, some sheep just standing there like idiots. wow.

Have a steer we raise on the farm for two years and the Willie skit before the Texas game is Willie bolt gunning the steer for some great Kansas beef. The next week there's a new baby steer.

Same thing with a chicken for KU.

A bear for Baylor.

Bet we could 3D print them.  How many hooves per minute can most 3D printers churn out?

A tame bobcat acts pretty similar to a house cat, and I don't think too many people would object to that.

We can just put Touchdown on a leash, walk him onto the field or along the terraces at the beginning of the game, get some good publicity/exposure, and take him off. (The terraces/field, not the leash)

It's hard to tell what house cats love more, being on a leash or being surrounded by 50,000 people. I hope someone in Mosier Hall is working on settling this age old question.
