Waters had a pretty weak day and I think the wind bothered him. (It also bothered me... My beer cup got knocked over twice by the wind)

A taller Vanier will help with wind issues.

LOL, the wind is going to swirl in the new NE like a god damn tropical storm.  Basically, the NE is going to be known as "Cape Hatteras" around the Big 12.

I don't think this was talked about earlier in this thread, but was anyone else surprised to see Sams returning punts? I was. I think he could be a definite weapon in that capacity.

He did drop a punt, however.

He is good from the qb position because he can catch defenders out of position.  I'd rather have a pure speed guy like Sexton or Lockett back on a punt/kickoff where all eleven guys are heading towards that one person.  I'm intrigued, but I was more excited to see Sexton back fielding kicks.

What we really need is a good blocker.  Lockett and Thompson had a good chemistry for blocking for each other.  I'd like to see someone who can lay a hat on a head hunter giving TLo time to make a move.
