'dgers did not come to play last night. except for JT obviously. they did not want it as much as the mets. i'm happy for bartolo, it's impossible not to love him. that said, they have zero chance vs the cubs.

I dunno mocat, I trust the Mets starting pitching. I'll pick the Cubs too, but the Mets can slow down the Cubs lineup

just fwiw, there are no mets fans in new york

they are 7-0 vs the mets cf3. i know that can be misleading, but they already beat deGrom twice. it's really hard to go 7-0 vs a team.

BUT like i said before, the playoffs are super random and the mets could win in 7 or something. they do have home field

I heard an interview with Curt Schilling yesterday and he doesn't think the playoffs are random because it's the only time when all of the players are totally locked in to every pitch of every at bat.

so he thinks it's fair to judge an entire season based on just a few crazy games in october? weird

there probably are a few. it's kinda the same type of deal as the jets. true new yorkers are yankee/giants/knicks fans. new jersey gets the jets, mets, and nets.
