Okay, those much more knowledgeable then me explain why it was bad for Ethernet to catch that foul ball. Or that's what Twitter is saying.

Not necessarily bad, but by catching it he essentially traded an out for a run. If he let it drop and then the batter struck out or couldn't get a sacrifice then it's worth it. If he let it drop foul and then the batter made a hit it would be worse (you would still give up the run and have one less out). It's a tough call. Personally, I have my team catch it I think. In baseball there only a finite number of outs, and its best (IMO) to get them when you can.
