I haven’t been paying all that close attention to the new rule changes but from a video I watched it sings like Max could really benefit a ton from the pitch clock rules. Like it sounds like his strategy is basically going to be to get a guy to call time early in the count. And since you only get one he will then just do whatever he wants to disrupt your timing bc you can’t step out anymore.
I remember last year how his worst games were the ones where batters would keep stepping out on him and disrupting his rhythm and he would get really frustrated and just end up having a terrible game. Seems life this should be good for him!
