Or on a national level we're just now hearing about it. Even in today's 24/7/365 news cycle, not every story gets the play it may ultimately deserve right out of the gate. This isn't real rough ridin' difficult. But there's still huge stories today, that start out, "When this first happened it didn't get much attention . . . ".

Amazing that you really believe that. The major media will not cover stories like this until after they gain traction and they are forced to. If this were Trump, WaPo/NYT/CBS/ABC/NBC would leave no stone unturned.

The second story is a few months old because this has been going on for months.
